Enrico Manfredini was from Modena.

In June 1941, Tenente Manfredini served in the 83a Squadriglia, 18o Gruppo CT in North Africa. The unit was at the time still equipped with Fiat CR.42s.

On 30 June, the CR.42s of the 18o Gruppo provided escort to Ju 88s bombing allied ships when they were some 30 miles south of Ras Azzaz. Here Tenente Manfredini reported encountering three Hurricanes, one which he claimed to have probably shot down.

Manfredini ended the war with 1 probable biplane victory.
