Pavel Brzhestovsky was born in 1916.

In July 1941, Leitenant Brzhestovsky served in 13 IAP flying Polikarpov I-153s in the Mstislavl region.

Later, the unit was re-equipped with Yak-1s and transferred to the Crimean Front.

Leitenant Brzhestovsky was killed during a combat mission on 25 December 1941.

At the time of his death, Brzhestovsky was credited with 1 biplane victory and a total of 2.
