Kapitan Ivan Fedorovich Druzhkov
1916 –
Ivan Druzhkov was born in 1916.
As a Leitenant, he took part in the Soviet-Finnish Winter War in 1939-1940 serving in 54 IAP. He flew Polikarpov biplanes with this unit but didn’t make any claims.
When Germany attacked the Soviet Union on 22 June 1941, he served as a Starshii Leitenant in 127 IAP flying Polikarpov I-153s with this unit.
On 6 December 1941, he was decorated with the Order of the Red Banner.
He was posted away from 127 IAP in June 1942.
In June 1943, he was posted to 32 IAP and with this unit he flew Yak-9s and Yak-3s until the end of the war.
He was decorated with the Order of the Patriotic War 1st Class on 22 October 1943.
Druzhkov ended the war with 2 biplane victories and a total of 4.
His list of claims is incomplete due to the lack of operational records.
