Leytenant Yakov Sergeyevich Golishnikov

Yakov Golishnikov was born in 1920.
Mladshiy leytenant Yakov Golishnikov was posted to 347 IAP in January 1942, flying I-153s on the North Caucasus Front.
In August, he was posted to 482 IAP on the Transcaucasian Front. This unit was also equipped with I-153s.
On 6 September 1942, he was decorated with the Order of the Red Banner.
Golishnikov was killed on 14 July 1943, when he didn’t return from a combat mission.
At the time of his death, Golishnikov was credited with 3 biplane victories.
In some sources, his name is given as Galishnikov.
