He graduated from Orenburg flight school in 1935.
Leitenant Rozhdestvenskiy served as a volunteer in China between January 1938 and September 1938.
During his time in China, he was credited with 3 enemy aircraft shot down while flying Polikarpov I-15bis.

Rozhdestvenskiy passed away from a disease on 26 (or 27) June 1939.
