Vladimir Vinda was born in 1917.

When Germany invaded the Soviet Union on 22 June 1941, mladshiy leitenant Vinda served in 92 IAP. This regiment was equipped with Polikarpov I-153s and operated on the South-Western Front.

Vinda was posted away from 92 IAP in September 1941.

In March 1942, he was posted to 146 IAP, which operated Yak-1s on the South and South-Western Fronts.

On 22 August 1942, mladshiy leitenant Vinda didn’t return from a combat mission.

At the time of his death, Vina was credited with 2 biplane victories and a total of 3.
These had been claimed during 226 combat mission (as of 27 May 1942).
