Mladishiy Leytenant I. L. Yukhimovich
In July 1941 Yukhimovich served in 29 IAP. This unit was at the time based in Belorussia and equipped with Polikarpov I-153s.
On 13 July he claimed a Bf 110 from I/ZG 26. The pilot of this aircraft, Hauptmann G. Lehmann parachuted but his gunner was killed.
He claimed a Ju 88 on 18 July 1941.
According to some sources this was 29 IAP’s first victory.
Yukhimovich ended the war with 2 biplane victories.
