Hans Olof Palme was born on 4 August 1918 in Sigtuna.

Before joining F19, he was a former Cadet of the Swedish Air Force.

At F19, he served as a fighter pilot.

He became a widower on 12 March 1984.

Palme passed away on 21 February 2000. At the time, he was living in Stockholm.
