Starshiy Leytenant S. I. Uvarov

In 1941, Starshiy Leytenant Uvarov served as Zveno commander in an Eskadrilya of the 72 SmAP-SF, which was commanded by Kapitan Ivan Tumanov. The 72 SmAP-SF was equipped with a mixture of Polikarpov I-152s and I-153s and operated in the defence of Murmansk.

On 29 June 1941, Uvarov claimed a He 111 and two more shared while flying a Polikarpov I-152.

Uvarov ended the war with 1 biplane victory.
